Content suppression policy
When records are hidden from search, unpublished, or limited to internal review because public discovery would be inappropriate.
Suppression criteria
We suppress records when public indexing creates a privacy, safety, or accuracy problem but complete deletion is not the right archival response.
- Recent deaths with a family privacy request
- Living-person or wrong-person memorial errors
- Pending identity disputes or legal review
Internal retention
Suppressed records stay in the internal audit log so the review history is preserved and repeat mistakes do not re-enter the system.
