Takedown requests

When records are removed, what gets suppressed instead, and how to file an urgent privacy request.

Removal is reserved for real privacy or safety concerns

We treat memorial history as public record, but recent deaths, living-person mistakes, legal orders, and documented safety concerns receive immediate review.

Suppression is often the better fit

If the record is historically valid but should not be easy to discover, we can remove it from public search while retaining an audit trail internally.

Urgent cases

If a record describes a living person, states an incorrect death, or exposes a safety issue, use the guided request form and select urgent review.

Fast response path

Urgent privacy cases are triaged before standard content disputes.
